  1. I was really excited for this book! The review I read about it said began as autobiographical about DiCamillo's childhood. The secondary character I liked the most was the woman who answers the phone at the insurance company, Mrs. Sylvester. I think DiCamillo was very intentional about the role she plays in Raymie's life. What you do think about Mrs. Sylvester?

  4. I talked to Shadow Reader at school about this book and Shadow Reader had such great insignts that is changed my opinion about the book. She is really correct how the author shows the three very different characters, when together, are a strong force. I also appreciated how extremely different each of the main characters were. Dicamillo is such an expert at bringing to life crazy and amazing yet somehow believable characters.
